Located in General Santos City, the Century Pacific Food, Inc. PV project is Solenergy’s first installation in the Mindanao region. Century, being the largest canned food company in the Philippines, initially consulted with Solenergy to explore opportunities with renewable energy and possibly provide an on-site solution for energy savings and cost reduction measures.
Phase 1 of the project is comprised of 300 Canadian Solar Inc. polycrystallline modules connected to Fronius 3-phase inverters. Currently, the PV system is able to provide around 300 kwH of energy a day. System performance is also remotely monitored by Solenergy’s engineering team to ensure high system uptime.
